Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuges ComplexCheck out this footage of a domestic cat and alligator. Camera traps are fantastic tools for researchers to use in the field, while not having to be out there 24/7. Remote cameras have a motion and heat-sensing mechanism, which takes pictures or videos when triggered by a live animal moving in front of it. Over the weekend, a camera trap caught some interesting video footage behind the scenes on the Key Deer Refuge.
